You are required to produce an academic literature review on ONE of the following topics.
- Contemporary global urban and rural issues.
- Future global urban and rural challenges and responses to these.
Your literature review should:
- Summarise the key literature from a range of academic, professional, public and government sources;
- Include discussion of relevant theoretical or conceptual arguments from a range of disciplinary perspectives;
- Include two extended case studies of one urban and one rural location that illustrates some of the wider themes of your discussion;
- Outline a clear conclusion including a series of recommendations for future research.
